David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. The most famous of his work is for his show World News Tonight. The dramatic footage on video and the animated movements make it the most popular newscast in the United States. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated show Made In America. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for the anchor who was his former anchor Diane Sawyer. He reported on many evening ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. The reporter has covered stories from all over the globe, including in Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He has received multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors of the Associated Press.
