David-Muir
David Muir is an American journalist and anchor best known for his ABC newscast World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for his role in the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he serves as anchorman and anchor and co-anchor. One of the most watched newscasts in America is his show, which features dramatic video clips and animated gestures. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. Prior to taking over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for the anchor who was his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts to ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint: Refugees in America. His journeys have taken him to all corners of the earth including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti the Gulf of Mexico and more. His accolades include several Edward R. Murrow Awards and distinctions from the Associated Press.
