Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actor. She sings as well. She was raised by her mom within the USA she faced many racial slurs and made her feel being unwelcome. When she was in 9th grade she began to feel more secure after being praised by her teachers when she sang at the school's audition. Not only did she gain confidence from the experience however, she also re-evaluate her career goals. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. In the year 23 she started her professional career, making her first appearance on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. However her greatest breakthrough came when she appeared in the part in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway show Spamalot winning not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC, she gained greater appreciation. She is known as a performer and also released a single and an extended show. She also works as an LGBT activist.
